Curtain walls are modern façades that offer excellent insulation properties and infinite design patterns.
Glass curtain walls represent an efficient solution not only for office and bank buildings, but also for interior spaces and conservatories (self-supporting or on a steel, concrete or wood structure).

The structure of a curtain wall system:
- support structure made of horizontal and vertical mullions;
- panels added to the support structure, which can be either glass panels (fixed or mobile) or opaque panels;
- assembly, sealing and finishing components (special elements, gaskets and adhesives)
- insulating glazing.

SCHÜCO FW50+ system
The established SCHÜCO FW50+ system 9 profile (width 50 mm) offers a great concept variety for curtain walls and conservatories. Moreover, the systems compliance ensures unlimited creation possibilities and combinations.
With a wide range of cover caps, the highly thermally insulated standard system for vertical façades offers outstanding design options for every type of façade. The main characteristics of this system are:
- visibly reduced width (5mm);
- variety of design options due to large module widths;
- compliant with Schüco door system ADS and Schüco window system AWS;
- numerous design options due to a wide range of cover caps;
- anti-burglary and bullet-proof protection;
- excellent thermal and sound insulation;
- quick and easy installation owing to a high degree of prefabrication.
ALUMIL Standard Plus M6 system
This series is an improved version of M1 and M2 systems.
The standard M6 curtain wall has vertical and horizontal profiles visible on the exterior, making up a variety of combinations adaptable to any type of construction. These exterior ornamental profiles may be made of aluminium or steel.
The windows are flush fitted, while the frames and mullions are 55 mm wide. The assembly procedure is extremely simplified comparing to any other known system on the market.
This system has a sound structure, designed to resist to any kind of building deformation (caused by earthquakes or vibrations) and to any thermal extension of the aluminium profiles, without losing any of the wind load resistance and water-proof properties.
